Position OverviewAs a Video Production Specialist at Edge Media Group LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of audiovisual solutions for events, presentations, and productions. From setting up equipment to troubleshooting technical issues, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality video experiences that exceed our clients' expectations. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Event Setup and Execution: Set up and operate audiovisual equipment for live events, church services, meetings, and productions, including cameras, projectors, screens, switchers, and audio systems.
- Technical Support: Conduct pre-event checks and testing to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during events.
- System Installation and Configuration: Assist with the installation and configuration of video systems in various venues, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Client Support: Collaborate with clients and event organizers to understand their audiovisual requirements and provide technical support and guidance as needed.
- Event Monitoring: Monitor and adjust audiovisual settings during events to maintain optimal image quality, sound levels, and lighting conditions.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other technical staff, including lighting technicians, sound engineers, and stagehands, to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain inventory of audiovisual equipment, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades, to ensure availability and reliability.
- Technical Experience: Proven experience as a Video Production Specialist or similar role, preferably in the events, entertainment, or AV industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and knowledge of audiovisual equipment, including cameras, video switchers, LED walls, projectors, and signal processors.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with live streaming and presentation software, such as ATEM control, OBS, Wirecast, Vimeo Livestream, Adobe suite, Propresenter 7, and PowerPoint.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively under pressure, ensuring minimal disruption to events.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in audiovisual technology, broadcasting, or a related field.
