Diesel Technician Job Description

At Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, we're committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Diesel Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers from all over.
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.
  • Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
