Compensation: Weekly pay rate ranging from $2700 to $2800 (includes non-taxable travel/housing and meals & incidentals stipend for eligible travelers)

Unit: Operating Room, CVOR

Shift Details: 8-hour shifts; Daytime, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Work Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, 5 shifts weekly, Monday to Friday; includes 15 call shifts monthly, with every other weekend on call

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience - Required
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cardiac Circulating - Required
  • 1 year of CVOR experience or completion of 1 assignment - Required
  • Experience in Gynecology or Orthopedics - Required
  • Willingness to float to Gynecology/Orthopedics if CV volume is low - Required
  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing - Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing - Preferred
  • RN License for the state of Oklahoma or compact - Required
  • AHA BLS and ACLS Certifications - Required

Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse in CVOR, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room and floating to Orthopedics/Gynecology as necessary
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Conducting assessments and analyzing patient data
  • Setting care objectives and planning treatment strategies
  • Prioritizing patient care effectively
  • Implementing nursing interventions
  • Delegating tasks appropriately and safely
  • Providing both direct and indirect nursing care
  • Evaluating patient responses to interventions
  • Executing additional nursing duties in line with advanced knowledge and skills
  • Planning and delivering tailored peri-operative care using the nursing process
  • Overseeing the surgical team in patient care
  • Managing on-call responsibilities
  • Flexibly supporting other departments as required
  • Offering on-call assistance as needed
