About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Clements Primary School. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking, working under the supervision of the Head of Kitchen.
  • Layout and display food for counter service, ensuring a visually appealing and safe environment for our customers.
  • Assist in the serving of meals, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Collect and dispose of waste food and materials, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean the dining room and put furniture away, ensuring a clean and welcoming space for our customers.
  • Wash-up or clean all items of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, equipment, etc. in accordance with Vertas Catering policies.
