Job Title: Prep Cook

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Nonna's Kitchen SD in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and contribute to the success of our Italian restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and cooking ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
  • Label and stock ingredients on shelves to ensure easy accessibility.
  • Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and entrees.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record as a prep cook or other food preparation position.
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently, quickly, and safely with manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other staff members.
Compensation and Benefits:
