SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under general supervision, oversees student activities and behavior during lunch periods.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Familiarity with relevant school regulations, practices, and procedures, or the ability to quickly learn such information. Understanding of games suitable for recess activities. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and others. Capability to monitor elementary and middle school students and supervise recreational activities during lunch. Patience and proven ability to work well with children.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to patrol for extended periods in various weather conditions. Capacity to supervise playground and recreational activities, ensuring adherence to safety rules and appropriate behavior standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises and monitors students on the playground and during lunch periods.
  • Ensures safe and orderly conduct in the cafeteria, promoting good manners and cleanliness.
