Diesel Mechanic Job Opportunity

Salem Carriers is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team of experienced technicians. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine vehicles to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Repair and replace brakes, transmissions, and other critical components
  • Communicate with drivers to understand vehicle problems and develop effective solutions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in medium/heavy diesel maintenance
  • CDL license preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with diagnostic tools
  • Good driving record and proven work history
