Receptionist PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receptionist PRN to join our team at Austin Oaks Hospital. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Answer multi-line phone system and take accurate messages, relaying them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Communicate professionally with visitors, patients, and families, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
- Monitor emergency systems and facilitate response to emergency codes as required.
- Assist with data entry projects, daily census updates, and copy projects as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Previous experience in a multi-line phone environment and general office setting a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
