Job Summary

The State of Illinois is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Analyst I to join our team. As a Behavioral Analyst I, you will be responsible for performing professional behavioral analysis for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough behavioral analysis to identify areas of improvement for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  2. Develop and implement behavioral program systems to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  3. Train program delivery staff in behavior analysis techniques to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review habilitation plans for individuals.
  5. Integrate facility and community-based services to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  6. Verify treatment procedures, restraints, and seclusion are implemented in accordance with facility and department regulations.
Requirements
  1. Current, valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-D (BCBA-D) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  2. One year of professional experience in applied behavior analysis or completion of the agency-sponsored Behavior Analyst Associate program.
Working Conditions
  1. Ability to work after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
  2. Ability to physically restrain individuals as necessary to prevent injury to the individual or others.
  3. Ability to travel in the performance of job duties.
  4. Ability to pass the IDHS background check and a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
