This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is a key contributor to the Process Automation Energy Industries division at Abb Holdings Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
  • Create work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects, ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
  • Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure designs are appropriately manufactured, staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
  • Coach engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or other engineering degree.
  • 8+ years of experience preferred in engineering, working as an Engineer with Distributed Control Systems.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of USA.
  • Position will be based in Houston, TX.
  • Reimbursement for relocation is not available.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Abb Holdings Inc in the US.
