Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at Sound Community Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience providing individual and group therapy to adults with severe mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to an assigned caseload
- Complete intake assessments and treatment plan reviews
- Conduct crisis assessments and document all client contacts
- Provide linkage with community resources and mentorship to students and employees
- Participate in supervision, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and agency committees
Requirements:
- Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required
- Experience providing assessments, individual and group therapy, discharge planning, and referral services
- CPR/First Aid Certified or eligible
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
