Operating Room Circulator Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Circulator Nurse to join our team at Physicians Surgical Network Affiliates. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs before, during, and after surgery.
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Ensure aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique.
- Coordinate the operating room with respect to sterility, cleanliness, and availability of functioning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure proper handling of specimens and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
- Initiate corrective action when information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and holds a current Registered Nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board.
- Current and active CPR certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years OR experience.
- Cognitive skills as related to the position.
