Job Title: Senior Power Electronics Engineer

CesiumAstro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing leading-edge power electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end design of power converters and power management and control circuits
  • Perform detailed and complete schematic design for low-to medium complexity power electronics designs
  • Develop design verification test plans and requirements compliance matrices
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering team and lead system integration and qualification campaigns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry or university research experience in board-level power electronics design, analysis, and test
  • Experience owning the design phase of circuits or boards, including trade studies, component selection, and detailed design
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience delivering subcircuit or board designs to production and deployment
  • Proficiency in printed circuit board design tools such as Altium, OrCAD/Allegro, PADS/Xpedition, or similar
