Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, Ob/Gyn, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures using various equipment and techniques to obtain accurate and high-quality results.
- Identify and define abnormalities specific to the procedure and extend the scope of the examination as necessary.
- Prepare patients for procedures, obtain clinical history, and explain the purpose of the ultrasound examination.
- Record statistics and perform daily maintenance of the ultrasound lab and its equipment.
- Act as a resource to other staff, physicians, and students regarding equipment, techniques, procedures, and studies.
- Graduate of an accredited program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
- Certification in one or more of the following modalities: Ob/Gyn, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, or small parts.
