Certification Requirements:
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Job Details:
- Unit: 2NW CVICU RN - 36 hours per week (Day/Night)
- Consideration for non-CVICU candidates with training opportunities available
Shift Information:
The majority of shifts will be during the day, with the possibility of up to two weeks of night shifts within a six-week schedule.
Patient Care Ratio:
1:2
Essential Skills:
- Telemetry
- Ventilator Management
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Pulmonary Artery Lines
- Minimum of 2 years in CVICU (high acuity unit)
- Level 1 Trauma Experience and Post-Operative Care
- First-time travelers are welcome
Unit Specific Information:
All candidates are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels. This position is within a Short Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital, recognized among the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the nation.
Charting System:
Cerner
Work Schedule:
Day shift hours and night shift hours are flexible. There are no call requirements, and shifts may vary (Rotating A/P, D/E, D/N) as needed. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.
Parking:
On-campus parking is available, eliminating concerns about shuttle schedules after night shifts.
