Automation Systems Specialist

The Field Service Technician (FST) role at Applied Industrial Technologies is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical and mechanical aptitude. As an FST, you will be responsible for the implementation, installation, service, support, and training of Automation & Robotic Systems for our clients in highly diverse industries.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform on-site fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting work.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems and ability to read schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
- Strong and diverse tool use experience (hand, power, pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, meters, gauges, etc.).
- Working knowledge of factory-type instrumentation & equipment (PLCs, HMIs, etc.).

Requirements:
- Field service experience or aptitude strongly preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated successful customer interaction and providing high levels of customer service.
- High School Diploma, or equivalency, required.
