Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Marine Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in Marine Design to join our team at Apex Placement & Consulting. As a Marine Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems for marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and certification to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate designs in real-world marine environments.
  • Participate hands-on in building prototypes, identifying, and resolving issues during the development process.
  • Design, develop, and test circuit boards for marine powertrain systems.
  • Assemble circuit boards, ensuring they meet precise design specifications.
  • Communicate with suppliers to address quality concerns and manage supply chain logistics.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference.
  • Write and debug embedded and PC software, ensuring smooth integration with marine powertrain systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in circuit board design, assembly, and testing; strong knowledge of marine powertrain systems and their electrical components.
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging software for embedded systems; knowledgeable in C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Knowledge of marine industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience using CAD software for circuit board design (e.g., EAGLE).
