GENERAL SUMMARY
Munson Healthcare is looking for a dedicated physician to be part of a collaborative practice focused on delivering exceptional healthcare to patients across all age groups. The selected physician will work alongside a team of 2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, managing a patient load of approximately 18-20 individuals daily. This role is situated within a well-resourced healthcare facility, ensuring that the physician has access to a variety of tools and support to enhance their practice.

STANDARDS OF CARE
- Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses using evidence-based practices.
- Gather comprehensive health histories from patients and caregivers.
- Conduct age-appropriate physical examinations.
- Identify health risks and needs.
- Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests.
- Develop tailored care plans based on clinical findings.
- Communicate care plans effectively to patients and their families.
- Perform procedures within the physician's scope of expertise.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as needed.
- Provide patient education on health management.
- Refer patients to specialists and community resources when necessary.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and reviews.
- Serve as a resource for ancillary staff education.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Training:
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program in family or internal medicine.
Certification, Licensure, Registration:
- Board eligible or certified in family or internal medicine in the State of Michigan.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must obtain clinical privileges through the credentialing process.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to make independent medical decisions.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
