Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately size, estimate, and quote HVAC projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, Project Managers, and other departments to determine project scope, timelines, and costs for materials and labor.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and review project plans/specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct product and material research, evaluate bids, and prepare proposals for a range of HVAC projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on current industry trends to maintain competitive and efficient estimating practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure the successful delivery of each project.
  • Organize and maintain detailed records of all completed estimates.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC estimating.
  • Proven expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC projects, including hospitals, schools, airports, energy, and military sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project plans, specifications, and materials.
  • Ability to provide accurate estimates for projects ranging from $500k to $10MM.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and other departments.
  • Union experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bonus: Experience in process piping is highly valued.
