Job Summary:

San Jacinto College is seeking a qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach Music related coursework. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and contributing to the academic success of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Music related courses, including lectures, discussions, and performances.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Music and incorporate relevant technologies into instruction.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Music or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in teaching Music coursework in higher education is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. This may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
