Job Overview
MRG Exams West is a premier service provider of independent medical examinations, seeking a Physiatrist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role
The Physiatrist will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and performing a comprehensive assessment on each veteran. This involves documenting exam findings using Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ's), condition-specific forms created by the VA.

Responsibilities
- Review and assess 4 Veterans per day on average
- Complete DBQ's within 24 hours after an exam
- Proficient in finding key data points within large electronic medical records
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete DBQ's and form medical opinions
- Skilled at time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements

Requirements
- Current license as a Physiatrist
- Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology

Benefits and Salary
We offer a competitive salary estimated to be around $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with MRG Exams West and serve Veterans in their community while maintaining control over your schedule and workload. This role requires a minimum of 2 days/week travel around ND and offers Telehealth opportunities.
