Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Line Strategist to join our team at Johnny's Selected Seeds. This is a full-time salary position based in Albion, ME.


Responsibilities:
  • Product Line Development: Develop and implement product line strategies for assigned crops, staying current with commercially available varieties worldwide.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage professional relationships with supply partners, coordinate contract proposals, negotiations, reviews, and execution.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to set annual trial goals, evaluate product performance, and develop technical support information for customers.
  • New Product Development: Source, evaluate, and introduce new products to the market, managing the new product development process from start to finish.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Business-related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the food and agriculture industry.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
