Job Title: Sr Analytics Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Analytics Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data pipelines, and data visualization. They will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate and consolidate data, and creating and optimizing dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data flow from various sources to our data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and consolidate data from multiple systems, databases, and external sources.
  • Create and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and queries to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement data quality checks and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Associate, Data Engineer, or similar role.
  • The ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries with ease.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Astrato, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, and data transformation tools such as dbt, Airbyte, Hightouch.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in writing Python code and experience with version control and CI/CD best practices.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling is a plus.
