Job Summary

AmeriServ Financial seeks a highly skilled and experienced VP & Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our investment management team, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolios for our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage investment portfolios for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve optimal returns while minimizing risk.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to clients, including portfolio performance and market updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop new business initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and economic developments to inform investment decisions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of investment policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of direct or related experience in portfolio management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing investment portfolios.
  • CFA, CIMA, MBA, or active enrollment in these programs is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong leadership ability and customer focus, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, with frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Travel

Extensive travel is required for this position, including overnight stays.
