Packer - 1st Shift (South Tree)

Hain Celestial Group is seeking a skilled Packer to join our team at our South Tree facility. As a Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

• Set up boxes and containers for packaging
• Ensure containers are correctly labeled and items are oriented per specification
• Maintain proper count of pieces and number of containers packed in a case
• Apply special notes for container integrity and placement code date or other labels or markings
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment during the shift and perform clean-up duties at the close of the shift
• Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiating action as necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Possess manual dexterity to manipulate boxes, bags, and cases
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height on an intermittent basis
• Possess basic math calculation skills
• Understanding of basic principles of the SQF program and other food safety policies/procedures

The manufacturing environment at Hain Celestial Group is fast-paced and dynamic. As a Packer, you will be working in a team environment with a focus on quality and safety. The average ambient temperature in the facility is 85 degrees, and you will be exposed to fluorescent lights and manufacturing equipment hazards.
