Job Summary:

The Universal Banker is a key role within Farmers National Banc Corp., responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial solutions to clients. This position requires a strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cash handling and vault operations, ensuring accurate and secure transactions.
• Process various banking transactions, including account openings, loan payments, and safe deposit box rentals.
• Provide financial solutions and recommendations to clients, including cross-selling bank products and services.
• Assist with sales and referral techniques, achieving personal and team sales goals.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and regulations, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
• Collaborate with branch management to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
• Stay up-to-date on banking products and services, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and drive sales growth.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)
• Minimum of one (1) year retail banking experience, including cash handling
• Previous supervisory and sales experience are highly preferred

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services
• Ability to prepare cash orders and manifests
