Cath Lab Registered Nurse Opportunity

Premier Global Links is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team in Lewiston, ID. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assist with interventions as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on procedures, care plans, and post-operative instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, procedures, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, hospital policies, and best practices in Cath Lab nursing.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency within the Cath Lab.
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced nursing staff and team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Possess or be eligible to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Idaho.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
  • Education: Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: Previous experience in ICU, Emergency Department, or Cath Lab settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
