Job Summary:

As a Dishroom Team Member with BBL Hospitality, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and a clean dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitation of tableware and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain the dish machine and report any functional or mechanical problems to the management team.

• Monitor the dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle and prevent bacterial growth.

• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware to prevent breakage and loss.

• Keep the dish room clean and organized, with adequate levels of clean tableware and dish detergents.

• Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster at designated times to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss, and maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.

• Clean food preparation and production areas as required to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 lbs, up to 30 times per shift.

• Ability to reach, bend, and stand for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
