Industrial Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team at CyberCoders. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in lean manufacturing and industrial engineering to drive process improvements and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to streamline manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Capital Projects: Support the development and implementation of capital projects, including new equipment installations and process upgrades.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement, optimize resource allocation, and inform business decisions.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with line balancing, manning calculations, productivity analysis, capacity analysis, ergonomic risk analysis, time studies, standardized work, PFMEA, lean manufacturing, and statistical process control.
  • Experience with capital projects, including project management and coordination.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred, with Six Sigma certification a plus.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
