Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Penrose Hospital. As a key member of our ICU team, you will play a vital role in coordinating clinical and department activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between physicians and the patient care team. Your strong clinical judgment and leadership skills will enable you to provide high-quality care delivery to each patient, while promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical and department activities to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery
- Act as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration
- Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments
- Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates
- Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- At least one year recent RN ICU experience required
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
