Responsibilities:

As a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to patients who require extended medical care. Your duties will include:

  • Providing care for 5-6 patients
  • Adjusting and performing in a fast-paced environment
  • Monitoring and administering medications
  • Educating patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage their illness/injury
  • Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment used on patients
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Long Term Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes and able to read Tele-strips
