Position Overview

We are seeking a software engineer for NGIC in Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities
  1. Apply expertise to perform in-depth technical evaluations of foreign computer and network technologies through the analysis and identification of software capabilities and vulnerabilities of specified non-US warfighting subsystems.
  2. Author concise Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) assessments in conformance with the intelligence community (IC) analytic standards.
  3. Apply working knowledge of the cyber-kill chain and offensive techniques to identify and describe potential cybersecurity issues.
  4. Provide technical intelligence analysis of weapon systems and C4 networks, including analyzing printed circuit boards, hardware devices, and software and firmware to understand the capabilities and performance of the system.
Required Qualifications
  • At least an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering with a focus on micro/digital electronics, or computer forensics.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Demonstrate high level of curiosity.
  • 2-5 years professional software development experience.
  • A current, active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing embedded software.
  • Experience with software reverse engineering.
