Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Case Manager to join our team at End Homelessness California (DBA The Shower of Hope). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management support to students, coordinating program activities, and collaborating with community partners to bring resources to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Hope Housing for Students program, overseeing participants, creating service plans, and delivering services to program participants.
  • Conduct and coordinate weekly house group sessions with the Program Manager and partners to bring services that will help students succeed.
  • Conduct bi-weekly or weekly check-ins with program participants to check academic progress, personal updates, and help set up a plan for the next steps beyond community college completion.
  • Coordinate outreach and collaboration efforts with community partners to bring resources that will allow students to have suitable opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as needed to share with management and program partners related to participant metrics and activities.
Requirements
  • Experience in administration, human resources, social services, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage program activities and work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to present information and work with participants.
  • Strong work values, including dependability, timeliness, and a positive attitude.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions

The physical activities required by the job are subject to change and currently include standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Boundaries and Confidentiality

The employee must maintain strict boundaries with student participants, ensuring consistency, predictability, and security for meetings and individual sessions. Confidentiality must be ensured at all times, and contact between the employee and student participants should be limited to pre-arranged appointments.
