About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team at Uncommon Schools NYC. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and families.

As a School Social Worker, you will work closely with teachers, staff, and families to provide individualized support to students, address social-emotional needs, and promote academic success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum for social and emotional development, providing crisis intervention, and referring students to external resources as needed. Additionally, you will serve as a Case Manager and member of the Child Study Team, working collaboratively with educators to strengthen home, school, and community partnerships.

This role requires a Master's degree in Social Work, licensure, and valid School Social Worker Certification from NYDOE. Experience working with urban schools and a proven track-record of high achievement are highly preferred. About the Opportunity
Compensation for this position is estimated to be between $71,000 and $103,900 per year, based on factors such as relevant professional experience, education, certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools.
