Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide network infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure, including routing and switching, network design and architecture, and IP engineering.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring the integrity and security of the network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry standards, applying this knowledge to improve network performance and security.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams and configuration files.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with IP networking design and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls, including setup and configuration.
  • Experience with network and firewall troubleshooting or problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols, including L3VPNs, BGP, and Multicast.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and perform lab performance, functional, and integration testing.
  • Ability to travel to support work activities, such as installs.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with testing and deployment of DoD systems or solutions.
  • Experience with network design and security.
  • Experience with STIGing or security hardening of systems.
  • Experience with ACAS or security analysis tools.
  • Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently.
  • Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • CCNA or CCNP Certification.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD.
