Job Overview

Salary Information

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $34.65 to $35.69, providing a competitive salary for experienced Clinical Nurses.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
  • Evaluate patient needs for and responses to care rendered, applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Possess knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrate ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.

This role may require access to sensitive information regulated by Federal and New York State statutes. You will be expected to ensure that access to information is based on a 'need-to-know' principle and is the minimum necessary to properly perform assigned duties.
