Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to support our Project Management Team with pre-construction initiatives, including bid invitations, document organization, and construction office tasks for upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the construction process from concept to completion.
- Gain knowledge and understanding of project completion on time and on budget.
- Ensure total safety compliance for all aspects of the project.
- Learn the process of bidding, estimating, and securing subcontractors through our Procurement/Estimating department.
- Provide daily direction, support, and supervision for field Superintendents and direct reports.
- Construction Management majors or related concentration preferred.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours during the semester and up to 40 hours during the summer.
- Interest in multi-family or mixed-use construction projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate a vehicle, climb ladders, and stairs, and use tools.
