About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Lynden Door. As a key member of our production floor, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and productivity of our machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform machine tuning, equipment repairs, upgrades, fabrication, and building maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to achieve our goals and exceed industry standards for product quality.
Requirements
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
  • Computer skills and experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) are preferred.
  • A strong emphasis on safety and shop organization is essential.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in maintenance or related fields is required.
  • Experience dealing with precise and tight tolerances in machining and fabrication is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and improve performance are essential.
