Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

Job Summary:
BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate substance abuse counselor to join our team. As a substance abuse counselor, you will work with patients to help them overcome opioid addiction and achieve long-term recovery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual counseling services to patients with opioid addiction.
  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to ensure patient care.
  • Respond to patient grievances and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans for patients.

Qualifications:
  • CAC II, CAC III, or LAC or LPC, LMFT, LCSW
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a related setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
