Are you a team player looking for a role in food service? Geisinger is seeking a Foodservice Worker to join their Hospitality Services team.
About the JobThis per diem, Flex position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care. As a Foodservice Worker, you will perform routine tasks related to food preparation, cleaning, and sanitation.
- Prepare and serve food to patients, staff, and visitors
- Clean and sanitize food service areas, equipment, and utensils
- Take and record temperature of food and storage areas
- Weigh or measure ingredients
- Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
