Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing daily banking operations, managing billing processes, handling credit and collections, and ensuring accurate inventory management. This role includes auditing accounts to confirm proper postings and executing various month-end entries, accruals, and adjustments as necessary. The analyst will also report weekly operational statistics to management and verify backlog status.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and post daily banking transactions.
- Facilitate inventory transfers and necessary adjustments.
- Ensure pricing aligns with target profit margins.
- Conduct weekly collection calls and provide updates to the team via email.
- Process customer credit applications, including reference checks and credit report evaluations.
- Maintain inventory records within the ERP system.
- Record daily production outputs.
- Reconcile and clear month-end intercompany transactions from accounts payable and receivable aging reports.
- Post monthly entries from the corporate management system, including insurance and other relevant expenses.
- Verify accruals and other month-end entries.
- Record depreciation and manage asset disposals or additions.
- Reconcile ERP inventory counts with physical warehouse counts and perform recounts as necessary.
- Assist with the annual inventory audit process.
- Manage customer invoicing processes.
- Upload positive pay files to the banking institution for issued checks.
- Review and resolve any positive pay exceptions.
- Record customer payments and attach remittance details in the accounting system.

3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
Bachelor's or associate's degree in finance or a related field is preferred
Travel Requirements
Some routine travel may be required.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
