As we expand our Graduate Medical Education programs, we are seeking a visionary leader to serve as our OB/GYN Residency Program Director in partnership with a local FQHC practice.

This is a unique opportunity to build and shape an innovative residency program from the ground up, ensuring the next generation of OB/GYN physicians are well-equipped to serve diverse patient populations with excellence. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in graduate medical education, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to advancing the field of women's health.

The successful candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and management of the program, ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and fostering an environment that promotes learning, research, and clinical excellence. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the development, accreditation, and implementation of the OB/GYN residency program.
  • Oversseeing the recruitment, selection, and mentoring of residents, ensuring a dynamic, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensuring the program meets ACGME standards and maintains accreditation by fostering a robust curriculum and structured rotations.
  • Collaborating with faculty and healthcare professionals to enhance clinical training and provide leadership in curriculum development.
  • Evaluating and supporting resident performance, ensuring they are equipped to meet milestones and competency requirements.
  • Promoting scholarly activity among residents and faculty by encouraging research, presentations, and publications.
  • Fostering a culture of professionalism, diversity, and inclusion, while serving as a role model for faculty and residents.
  • Developing strong relationships with TidalHealth leadership and affiliate institutions to ensure integration of educational goals with clinical practice.
  • Engaging in clinical practice as appropriate, while dedicating sufficient time to the administrative and educational needs of the program.
