Georgia Neurology Care PC is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to our neurology office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls.
- Assist with clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing basic lab tests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in medical assisting preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in neurology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
