Position Overview

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, adhering to the relevant scope and standards of practice, alongside the organization’s policies, values, and mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, implement, assess, and deliver patient care based on thorough patient evaluations to optimize health outcomes and efficiently utilize available resources.
2. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
3. Collaborate across various disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual or psychosocial support needs.
4. Assess the educational needs of patients and/or families, providing tailored education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
5. Maintain clinical skills and competencies through ongoing education, orientation, and practical experience.
6. Adhere to TribalEM and client-specific policies and procedures.

Additional duties may be assigned based on clinical assignments and site requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year in a relevant specialty.
  • Possession of an active and unencumbered state nursing license.
  • BLS certification (AHA) – a requirement for TribalEM.
  • ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • TNCC certification.
