Invasive Cardiology Technologist

About the Position:
This Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist role is a critical part of our Cardiovascular Unit team at Saint Agnes Medical Center. You will contribute to providing top-notch patient care and operating state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support.
- You will apply your technical expertise to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring precise results and accurate data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
- You will stay updated with industry developments and adhere to strict safety protocols to guarantee optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology is necessary.
- One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
- A valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) is mandatory.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card is required.
- A successful completion of basic arrhythmia recognition course within six months of date of hire into position is necessary.
- An American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography is desirable.
- Working knowledge of basic physics, anatomy/physiology, biology, math, and Basic Arrhythmia is essential.
- Familiarity with various radiographic and support equipment, including the ability to independently operate and troubleshoot the equipment, is vital.
Payscale:
The estimated hourly salary range for this role is $39.59 - $55.43, with potential adjustments based on career ladder placement.
