Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Travel Nurse RN to work in our Labor and Delivery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
- Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
- Strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and NRP certifications preferred.
