Position Overview:
We are seeking a Tax Supervising Senior to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough technical reviews and provide approval for all tax returns and governmental tax audits.
- Assign tax preparation tasks as needed.
- Engage in client meetings and contribute to tax planning initiatives.
- Oversee governmental tax audits and advocate for clients.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the firm's tax philosophy.
- Occasionally travel for client meetings and related work.
- Contribute to the firm's practice development activities.
Supervisory Duties:
- Mentor and train senior, semi-senior, and staff accountants.
- Supervise tax personnel and provide practical training.
- Focus on developing responsible and well-trained staff.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience representing clients before tax authorities.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
- A minimum of 40 hours of continuing education is required annually.
