USDA Guarantees Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled USDA Guarantees Analyst to join our team at Farmer Mac. As a key member of our Loan Administration department, you will be responsible for working with participating lenders to onboard loan data and supporting documentation into USDA settlement and servicing applications.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a reviewer and coordinator in the purchase of USDA-guaranteed loans, including rate locks, verification of loan documentation, loan data entry, production of internal loan settlement reports, and customer service support.
- Assist in the ongoing servicing of USDA-guaranteed loans, including processing servicing action requests, verification of loan documentation, loan data entry, and customer service support.
- Respond to inquiries from existing and potential customers regarding USDA loan purchase and servicing guidelines.
- Provide responses and documentation to internal inquiries and ad hoc requests.
- Assist management in identifying opportunities for workflow process improvements.
- Work closely with Loan Administration and Information Technology groups on change management initiatives for settlement and servicing systems.
- Provide backup for the collection and remittance of payment reporting.
- Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of mortgage accounting and reporting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in finance, banking, or the mortgage industry is a plus.
Farmer Mac offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
