Job Title: Contract Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Scientist to join our team at Dexian. As a Contract Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research investigations, analyzing data, and presenting findings to key stakeholders. Your expertise in sun care product development, formulation, and packaging protocols will be invaluable in driving business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and manage lab-scale aerosol package filling and testing
  • Perform aerosol package physical property and product bulk/propellant ratio combination testing
  • Capture and report critical data to key stakeholders
  • Maintain communication with cross-functional teams
  • Identify and report workflow improvements
  • Write progress reports and provide technical support in meetings
  • Design and execute research investigations consistent with sound scientific principles
  • Presentation of information in a coherent and accurate manner
  • Application of statistical analysis procedures and technical tools
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and multitask

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with sun care product development - formulation and packaging protocols
  • Basic understanding of product/process/consumer-based research as a scientific discipline
  • Ability to frame internal customer needs into actionable studies
  • Ability to coordinate projects and apply methodologies
  • Basic proficiency in applying and developing statistical analysis and design of experiments

  • 0% travel required
  • Work space definition (lab)
  • Exposure to health risks or conditions that may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment
