Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant II to join our Surgical Trauma ICU team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and document assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in patient education and support to promote health and wellness.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
  • Adhere to Novant Health's core values of diversity, inclusion, and quality care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • One year of relevant experience, preferred.
  • Completion of NA I and NA II programs, required.
  • NA registry as NA I in good standing. Current NA II certification with state, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: BON Health Care Provider. Medication Safety - AME.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
